In 2011, Shoals Mustangs has started a new annual donation.  Each year Shoals Mustangs will donate a tool kit worth $200 to a student chosen by the auto shop teacher at the Muscle Shoals Center for Technology.  This year, instructor Jimmy Charuhas chose as his most outstanding student Kendall Renfro.  Kendall and Jimmy Charuhas attended the June meeting of Shoals Mustangs where Kendall told the club about his trip to Birmingham with some other students to compete in a state-wide automotive competition.  Shoals Mustangs also donated some money to help pay for expenses incurred during the trip.
